I hate credit
The credit bureau message didn't include anything to make me want to call her back so I won't. She just mispronounced my name horribly and said to call her. Yeah, right, I totally want to carve out time and energy for you, stranger.
Still can't pay these fuxing bills till next week. Last friday's 5 day hold still has 3 more business days, IE till tuesday expires, before we can touch our two grand.
Nice. NOT okay! Twelve days to expire a 5 day hold! For shit that doesn't even exist and is made up on the fly by THEM whenever they wish!! AUGH! and the credit bureau is calling and why on earth would I answer them?
See, sell the house, pay the debts, all of them, slap it down and walk away with the equity. Put the equity on a boat and live without credit/debt. Dump these people, their rules and standards, and their damn scolding and haranguing. But we do need to get some cheques turned in and shuffle those numbers around or people may start doing more interactive things to us. I really don't like it when they bug me. I'm so tense right now I feel like someone wound up my guitar keys till I reached the next octave. My neck is about to snap. This, this is why we must change. We can't afford our lifestyle, we really can't. I don't know why, but it relates to the $12k we pay out servicing debt built up in the years when Dan was working for Floorit. Those creeps would sideline him and give him crappy work to try and bring him to heel, but keep slipping him good work when he started looking abroad for jobs so he couldn't really book himself and wasn't getting enough work to live on! So we padded it out with the credit. Then we got screwed by that accountant and that set us even further back. Buying the car and scooters on credit was also ill considered but at the time we weren't yet being treated crappy by the employer. We had no way of knowing we'd flounder. Nobody ever does, right? So we're treading water these days and still making purchases we can't afford (3d printer.)
I guess. Well I don't want to bloody stay here and always figured the house was to be sold later. I just hope we can make a good equity/debt balance when we do!
Meantime, we gotta find some $$ to put on our bills to shut people up.
Personally, I think the credit bureau is calling over that blasted alarm company. They quietly renewed our contract for another 3 years when I didn't call on time to cancel. They say I owe them the value of that business for those 3 years. I said they're cheats and since I hadn't used it even in the last year of my original contract, I wasn't paying, and I concluded the call. So I figure they must be firing a salvo via the credit bureau. They are likely advising me that a complaint's been lodged, yadda yadda. Honey, I'm in debt as far as I can go, I won't be asking for another coin from anyone till I get a lot of it paid down. Meantime that company can just keep banging on that door. I think I can get some serious consideration if it gets legal. They played hard sell with me in the first place, rushed me through the contract, turning pages for me, pointing where to sign, and assuring me I didn''t need to read it that closely. I definitely never noticed the bit about automatically renewing it indefinitely. I would have objected. that shouldn't be legal. so they got nine months extra out of me while my device was unplugged and unused and I just think they should take that bonus and go away. They're trying to charge me for a product I don't want and won't use and it's utter nonsense and cheatery.
Come get me at my boat in five years. I'll have a post office box in the city.
I ought to hold a yard sale this fall but I'm so scared. I'm hoping over winter I'll find the courage. Being afraid of the phone might help I guess. We ought to just dump it but I think it's cheaper than using cell phones for unlimited long distance.
Hmmmm, might not be. But then they'd get my cell phone and really annoy me.
