forbidden topic

I'm not allowed to talk about this, but yet my thoughts may come of value if I work them out right. First nations people are the ones who travelled the furthest in evolution. North america did not evolve a hominid from an ape, far as we know, but rather each and every homo sapiens arrived here after travel. Whether by bering land bridge, frozen glaciers, storm tossed boats, or hurled by hurricanes, they all came from somewhere else. Some may even have navigated frequently between here and the old world, like north africa and mesoamerica, or the pacific islands and the west coast. There is much we don't know as fact.

Well does this not suggest that the first nations people are the most explorative and innovate races on the planet? The product of the most travel and exploration.  They need to figure out on the fly what is good to eat and hunt and how, use their copious skills to tame new beasts, kill new monsters, find new foods, and etc.

I hope I live to see the day they are able to really stretch themselves in the STEAM fields, because I am still that much of a racist that I think there is also coded in our genetics, some inclinations and natural abilities, and that phenotypes of humans can have a propensity towards greater skills in some areas, or more interest and focus perhaps? it's not lost on me that the whites are the ones who sent out ships and used sheer villiany to subdue vast continents of kinder people.  that seems like a racial problem to me too.  It never means that you can't find equally capable people in any group, it means you should more eagerly share the technology and learnings of your world with everyone who requests it, and help all of them achieve a better quality of life.  One that leaves us all some time to study or create or entertain or rest or heal.

I would just like to see more first nations focused scholarships set up. Maybe start them off as elementary school beneficiaries allowing them an allowance for basic needs and school needs, then helping them through the rest of their career, including counselling, so they can rise out of the challenges that have kept their families back so far.  I think that social workers and teachers could work together to recommend eligible children who would benefit. It would not be unlike the child sponsorship system where it winds up benefiting the whole community with better school budgets for instance.

I do throw money around in my dreams and schemes. That is because money is not real. They make it up. They know how to get whatever they want, and there are some extremely fat beneficiaries that could be cut loose and allowed to pay for a basic income for every resident in the land.  you could quit your job and live in a van in newfoundland, or a small house, whatever your dream.

See, you wouldn't quit spending, that's important to the economy.  You wouldnt' quit creating either. You'd start giving and making time for others, that's "use value" and sets others free to contribute more economic value. It takes fewer hours for the city to clean litter if volunteers have done it recently. Saves the city money. The benefit of a better cared for society also increases creativity, and people start making things.  This one knits more, can afford the yarn. That one took up leathercrafting after using his UBI to buy a sewing machine from the local owned specialty sewing shop, one of the nice ones. And it goes on and on. All that then flows up the chain to repay the government and keep our high credit rating.

Well, ok, so it went from racist speculation to UBI but that's why I do this shit here, with comments off, and no interaction and no links to folks who know me. Because I need to talk to someone, but I really can't.
